Dear Colleagues,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the first edition of our newsletter. This platform will serve as a space to celebrate our collective achievements, share key updates, and highlight the exciting opportunities awaiting us this year.
I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to our newest school joining iSP and the Middle East Region: Durham School for Girls in Doha. After meeting with their dedicated teachers and SLT, I am confident that their addition will bring great value to our network through meaningful collaboration and shared expertise.
The iSP Learning First framework remains at the core of what we do. This term, our school visits will focus on celebrating the excellent learning happening in classrooms while working closely with SLTs to enhance the student experience through our 5 Pillars. Our shared emphasis on “Good Struggle” in learning ensures that every student is both challenged and supported to achieve their potential.
The newly introduced Learning Hub has already made a significant impact on our CPD needs, offering AI tools, experiential learning platforms, and personalised professional development pathways. Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing more information about new features and resources to support your growth and development.
The ILOS programme continues to thrive, offering even greater opportunities for collaboration across our network. This term, look out for updates on iSP Chess, Model United Nations, Filmmakers, Changemakers, and Scientists. These initiatives are fostering global connections and inspiring creativity, innovation, and teamwork among our students.
The EAL/Multilingual course has been very positively received and we are delighted that it has equipped our teachers with enhanced strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners. Meanwhile, the Life Competencies Project continues to empower students with essential skills across Cognitive, Global, Leadership, Interpersonal, and Digital domains and we look forward to working with schools on how this can further enhance our offerings.
Thank you for your continued dedication and commitment to creating Amazing Learning opportunities for our students and I look forward to seeing you throughout the year!
Warm regards,
Rory Galvin
Regional Learning Director
