Learning Opportunities for Students - ILOS

Across the Middle East region, we have seen more participation in our ILOS programmes than ever before! Almost 4,000 students participated in International Learning Opportunities this year with the most popular programmes being Street Child United, ISP Artists, ISP Chess Masters, ISP Scientist and ISP Changemakers. These programmes have given our colleagues and students the chance to explore learning outside of the classroom and have helped our students embed skills for life-long learning.

Nibras International School led the way with Model United Nations, taking a group of students to Malaysia and then hosting the Virtual Model United Nations - a first for the Middle East. Aspen Heights won the Changemakers Award for reducing energy consumption and inspiring change out of all the schools in the region, securing a substantial prize! Reach British School hosted the first ISP Artists virtual gallery for the region - find out more about this below.

Next year, we are excited to host more programmes across the schools in the Middle East, building upon what we have achieved this year. We are looking forward to a new regional ILOS programme, sharing our virtual spaces for families to celebrate our work and inviting them into school for events. We are working towards offering International Learning Opportunities across all phases of the school, in each school, so watch this space!
