ISP Middle East – End of Year Roundup: A Year of Growth, Achievement, and Collaboration

As we come to the end of another exciting and impactful year across ISP Middle East, it is a great time to look back and celebrate the progress, partnerships, and powerful learning that have taken place across our schools. There are more details on all the amazing initiatives in our schools contained in this issue and I invite you to take a moment to explore the stories, celebrate the successes and learn more about the impact of our work this year.

Strong BSO Results in Abu Dhabi and Dubai

We are incredibly proud of the brilliant outcomes achieved by three of our schools in their British Schools Overseas (BSO) inspections this year. Aspen Heights British School, Reach British School and The Aquila School received outstanding feedback, reflecting the hard work and commitment of their teams. These results are a real credit to the dedication of our staff and the strength of our shared approach to school improvement.

First Graduating Classes

A huge congratulations to the first graduates of Hamilton International School, Aspen Heights, and Star International School, Mirdif. These students are trailblazers, and their achievements mark a special milestone for each school and for ISP in the region. We are incredibly proud of them and wish them every success in the next stage of their journey, and we extend this to all graduates of ISP schools in the region.

Advancing Multilingualism

We have made real strides this year in multilingual education with the rollout of our new Multilingualism Course. Middle Leaders and teachers from across our schools have engaged with the programme, which supports the ISP Multilingualism Roadmap and is already influencing classroom practice. It has been inspiring to see how each school is shaping a learning environment that values and grows every language.

We look forward to welcoming a new Multilingualism lead for the region to take the strategy to the next level. We will share details about this person soon.

Collaboration Across Schools

One of the highlights of the year has been the powerful collaboration happening across our region. Through learning reviews, peer visits, and shared planning, schools have been working together more closely than ever. These moments have allowed staff to share expertise, build connections, and reflect together on what Amazing Learning looks like in their context. We are excited that next year, leaders from our schools will also embark on formal ISP Learning Reviews in other regions, which will help embed our knowledge, skills and understanding of the LIP and its application to schools in our regions.

Looking Ahead

As we prepare for the year ahead, our focus will remain on deepening our impact through high-quality learning and embedding Learning.First, ensuring every student in our care has the chance to thrive. Thank you to every member of our ISP Middle East community for the passion, energy, and care you bring each day. There is so much to be proud of and even more to look forward to. I look forward to working and learning alongside you next year.
