iSP Schools In The Middle East Adopting Behavioral Changes
.jpeg)

iSP is on a mission to decarbonize campuses by fostering a culture of sustainability through, simple, impactful behaviour change. The Middle East, particularly Qatar, presents the greatest opportunity for impact.
This year, all iSP schools have joined a Whole School Sustainability Pilot Project to support our ambitious goal: reducing regional emissions by 25% by 2027. This initiative weaves sustainability into every part of school life—operations, policies, curriculum, and community engagement—ensuring students are equipped to be environmentally conscious leaders.
In just one term, we`ve already seen incredible progress! Thanks to the high engagement from students, teachers, and staff, many schools have reduced electricity usage by over 20%. These results show that small, consistent changes can make a big impact.
To celebrate these successes and keep the momentum going, we`re thrilled to announce the first annual Class of Change Summit will take place at the end of the academic year. This exciting event will bring together student leaders to showcase their innovations and effective strategies and celebrate their progress. The school with the greatest reduction in electricity usage will be awarded 100,000 AED to further fund environmental sustainability on campus!
