Accreditation, Inspection and Awards Round-up

Accreditation, Inspection and Awards Round-up
The inspections and accreditation procedures our schools undertake every year are critical for ensuring we are continuing to get better.
Our schools in the Middle East successfully completed numerous internal and external inspections and accreditations this year, including:
- Three British School Overseas (BSO) inspections
- One ADEK Itriqaa Inspection
In each BSO inspection, our schools shone, receiving Outstanding ratings in every standard. Congratulations to Aspen Heights British School, Reach British School, and The Aquila School and their communities for retaining their BSO rating with amazing recognition of the high-quality education they are providing to students.
For Aspen Heights British School’s ADEK Itriqaa inspection report highlighted the school's improved ratings in areas such as student achievement, progress, teaching, assessment and leadership and management. 99% of the school’s judgements were Good or better and the new Year 12 and 13 IBDP phase received strong results as it received 96% of judgements of Good or better.
Multilingualism and EAL recognition
The Hamilton International School has received Accreditation by Language for Results International (ALFRI), an accreditation programme for international schools that demonstrates the quality of their English as an Additional Language (EAL) provision run by The Bell Foundation.
The report highlighted:
“The celebration of linguistic and cultural diversity with a focus on the personal and academic benefits of multilingualism is a particular strength of the Hamilton School’s policy and practice. There is strong leadership of EAL and multilingualism, and their work over the past year has been closely aligned with the ISP Group’s aims for multilingual learners. This has resulted in consistent progress on the whole-school EAL Action Plan with a clear way forward for areas to develop further. Progress and attainment evidence shows plurilingual learners make good progress and are enabled to achieve their full potential as global citizens.”
